Membership Terms & Conditions
Is there a minimum membership contract length?
There are no long-term contracts; you can cancel at any time by giving us 30 days notice.
How can I pay for my membership?
Payments are taken via direct debit on the 1st of each month. Members can review and change payment details within the member’s login.
What if I am late with my payment?
Should you fail to notify us of a freeze or cancellation request within the outlined notice periods, and fail to pay your membership fees by the 5th of each month, your membership will be cancelled and you will not be welcome to train at The Resistance BJJ until the outstanding fees are settled.
If you remove your payment details without giving us notice you will be deemed to have cancelled your membership and will be required to pay a sign up fee if you'd like to re-join.
I cannot train for a period of time. How can I freeze my membership?
-
If you have a long-term injury and you cannot train, please provide medical evidence so we can freeze your membership accordingly.
-
If you are going to be away for 1-3 months (E.g. Holiday/Work/Family commitments), we require a 1 month notice to freeze.
-
Planned membership freezes will incur a £25 administration fee . This does not include freezes for injuries with medical evidence.
-
Requests are to be sent in writing via email to theresistanceldn@gmail.com
-
If your membership is not reactivated within the 3 month period, your membership will be cancelled and you will need to pay a sign-up fee if you’d like to re-join.
-
We are only able to freeze a membership for up to a maximum of 3 months in one year. Unless this is for long term injury with medical evidence provided. During your membership freeze your account will not allow you to register into classes. You must not be training during any membership freeze.
